Prospective students must be aware of all services outside the classroom.
Check if the program offers career services, clubs, or organizations. Also, check if there are resources for online students, such as mental health counselling, tutoring and a library. Student services are not always available on campus at schools with both residential and online programs.
Riddle says that many universities charge the same tuition for on-campus programs and online ones. “I think it’s very important for online students to know what their experience will be like, and what they can expect. Just as if they were visiting campus.”
