Online students are eligible for the same types of financial aid as residential students, including grants and scholarships. Experts say that scholarships are less common.
The financial aid office at the school can provide students with information on resources and options for paying for college. Students who want to be considered for federal financial assistance must usually first complete the Free Application for Student Aid.
