Despite recent tech layoffs, there’s still high demand for certain tech jobs, especially for MBA grads. Popular tech roles for them include jobs in strategy and innovation, product management, and business development or sales, according to GMAC.
MBA grads taking tech roles reported median base salaries of $140,000 at the University of Washington (Foster), $151,000 at the University of California–Berkeley (Haas), and almost $164,000 at Stanford.
Tech jobs for MBA grads can pay even more than those without an advanced degree. For instance, the average salary is about $120,000 for an innovation strategist, around $132,000 for a business development manager, and over $270,000 for a product manager.
